Telkwa is a friendly, heritage Village that lies at the meeting of the scenic Telkwa and Bulkley Rivers and adjacent to Tyee Lake Provincial Park. The endless lakes, rivers and mountains offer a wide range of outdoor adventures.

During the summer, enjoy world class hunting and sports fishing, endless
hiking trails, canoeing, rafting, kayaking, bird watching, pristine
photography, camping opportunities and much more. In the winter, the
adventures continue with phenomenal ice climbing, cross country, back
country, and downhill skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and sled dog
racing. Telkwa offers two outdoor skating rinks - one in the downtown
core along our scenic Riverside Street and the other in Woodland Park.
These rinks are maintained by volunteers and are free to use.
