Camping galore, parks to explore! Come visit our tranquil lakes and restful park sites for your family vacation, or to spend just a few hours by the water.
For tenting in a private site, a sleeping bag under the stars, or a cozy motor home site, this area has an abundance of both public and private sites to meet individual needs.
In the Village of Telkwa, we have a corridor of parks winding along the Bullkley River. These parks allow access to world-class fishing, canoeing, kayaking and much more. Benches, picnic tables, flower – beds and even a gazebo make these parks the perfect place for a family picnic, wedding or family photograph.
Telkwa's Trail System
Telkwa has an extensive trail system featuring diverse river, marsh and aspen forest ecosystems as well as several interpretive centers. These centers provide educational information on the plant and animal life as well as the history of the original Alderemere town site that was abandoned in 1915.
