Temporary, full-time Labourer (Groundskeeper) - May 7 to September 21, 2012

The Village of Telkwa is seeking applications for a temporary, full-time Labourer (Groundskeeper) in the public works department from May 7th to September 21st, 2012. Proponents must be skilled in landscaping and groundskeeping and be physically able to perform the duties necessary to maintain Village parks and grounds. Candidates must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license.

The hourly rate of pay for this position is $21.33 plus 10% in lieu of benefits.

Contract Opportunities

The Village of Telkwa is seeking proposals for the completion of a Feasibility Study researching the possible development of a District Heating facility. The Village has completed preliminary work to identify buildings that may utilize district heating. Additional research is require to determine overall business feasibility and various utility/cost structures. An energy model, showing the system options and the prospective results, will be produced by the proponent.
